Statement from Auditor of State Dave Yost

Thursday, July 16, 2015

Columbus – The following statement may be attributed to Auditor of State Dave Yost concerning Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s announcement of an investigation into Ohio’s non-profit abortion clinics:

“General DeWine’s swift action to enforce Ohio law is commendable,” Yost said. “These practices have nothing at all to do with women’s health, the doctor-patient relationship or even a woman’s reproductive choices – selling aborted body parts happens after all those things are done and over.   This investigation is the right thing to do.”
