Statement from Auditor of State Dave Yost

Friday, November 14, 2014

Columbus – The following statement may be attributed to Auditor of State Dave Yost regarding the guilty plea entered today by former Marion-Franklin High School assistant principal Stanley Pyle.

“Pyle’s motto was ‘D’em up’, but passing a failing student is never a favor,” Auditor Yost said.  “Today’s plea is a step in the right direction for justice, but it will never replace the opportunities he stole from our students.”
